All questions
Will my S3 code work without changes?

In most cases, yes. The endpoint speaks the S3 API with Signature V4 and 14 operations, including presigned URLs. Point boto3, aws-cli or any S3 client at it with path-style addressing. Check your client against the operation list first.

What does a terabyte cost a month?

Storage is $0.020 per GB a month, so 1,000 GB is $20 before requests. Writes and lists are $0.005 per 1,000; reads are $0.004 per 10,000. Inbound is free. There is one price and one class.

What does it cost to take my data out?

Outbound transfer: $0.01 per GB for the first TB, $0.008 from 1 to 10 TB, $0.006 above that. Moving 1 TB out costs about $10. No exit fee, and any S3 client can do the copy.

Who can read my objects?

Holders of a key scoped to that bucket. The secret is shown once; revoke it and it stops at once. The platform underneath sees that a bucket exists and how large it is. Ask for the written statement on server-side encryption.

Can buckets live on my own storage hardware?

Yes. Devices you own join your private cloud, and the same endpoint, API and rate card apply. Triple X quotes the platform charge in writing with your private cloud. Hosted capacity is there where you do not own hardware.

Where is my data stored?

In the region you pick when you create the bucket, on your devices or on hosted nodes, inside your private cloud. There is no published region list; the API returns the live one. Traffic inside the same region is free.

What happens if a node holding my data fails?

Work moves across the network under your policy. The published documentation does not yet state a durability figure or a replica count, so ask Triple X for that number in writing before you store the only copy of anything.

What proof exists behind the platform?

A SOC 2 Type II examination with an unqualified opinion, period November 1, 2025 to January 30, 2026, no exceptions noted. The full report is under NDA. The 1,800+ node fleet count is company-stated.

How do I start, and what do I need?

Create an account, create a bucket and a scoped key, and point your S3 client at the endpoint. The free tier gives 10 GB of storage and 1 GB of outbound a month, no credit card. Starter accounts begin with 100 GB.

What is not included yet?

One storage class and no archive tier. No versioning, lifecycle rules or object lock yet, so keep your own retention copies. Single uploads stop at 5 GB; use multipart beyond that.
