A cluster in minutes. Nothing proprietary. Nothing to leave.
Backend and platform engineers at 10 to 200 person companies with a credit card, a Friday deadline and no patience for procurement or invoice surprises.
Why now
Leaving a cloud is now a regulated act.
Leaving a cloud is now a regulated act in the EU
The Data Act capped cloud switching charges at the provider’s direct cost from 12 September 2025 and prohibits them outright from 12 January 2027. Egress as lock-in is ending by law; a platform with no exit fee is simply early. [1]

What it means for you
Lock-in by exit fee is ending by law. Your customers will soon ask what it costs to leave you, and your answer depends on what you built on.
What waiting costs
Every month on a proprietary service is a month of code that will need rewriting when a customer, a regulator or a price rise forces a move. Portability is cheapest when it is designed in.
Why Triple X
Triple X is standard Kubernetes, S3 and PostgreSQL with no exit fee, so you arrive and leave with a copy rather than a project. Clusters come up in minutes and run on hosted nodes or your own.
In plain English
The law is removing the exit fee, and the market will follow. Build on a platform that never had one, with the tools you already use, and your customers’ question about lock-in has a one-line answer.
What you get
Four things, each a product you can open.
Standard Kubernetes
428 of 428 conformance tests, ingress and certificates included, up in 2 to 5 minutes. Import a cluster you already run.
OpenThe S3 API and PostgreSQL 17
Point boto3 at one endpoint. Three-node databases with seven-day restore.
OpenA CLI, three SDKs, an MCP server
TypeScript, Python and Go. Let an agent run the cloud.
OpenHourly, from $0.024
No minimum term, inbound free, outbound from $0.01 per GB, no exit fee.
Open
Which way in
Start where it fits. Move later without a new vendor.
Triple X Cloud nodes
No hardware of your own. Join the waitlist and start when your seat opens.
Your own devices
Triple X connects your racks or devices to a private cloud of your own.
Both
Sensitive work on your devices, the rest on ours, one private cloud.
Objections you will hear
What someone in the room will say.
Is this real Kubernetes or a fork?
Conformant: 428 of 428 tests. kubectl, Helm and your manifests work unchanged.
How fast is it really?
Clusters and databases come up in 2 to 5 minutes. Six machine sizes from $0.024 an hour.
What does the tier change?
Where it runs and who may operate the capacity. Tier B for most work, Tier A when a regulator is watching, Tier D for CI and batch. You pick it at launch.
What happens when I want out?
Your S3 tools and your kubeconfig work on day one and on the last day. Outbound from $0.01 per GB, no exit fee, in the contract.
What yes looks like
The list a buyer brings to the table.
- A quickstart that runs clean
- Published prices, hourly, no minimum term
- S3 API, standard Kubernetes, PostgreSQL 17
- Region and tier chosen at launch
- No exit fee, in writing
- Docs one click from every product

WhoYou
We never ask for your root credentials, API keys or bank details by email.
The first 60 days
A pilot with a pass mark you set.
Staging first, then one real service, and a bill you can read by service before the deadline.
Week 1
Free tier, cluster, bucket
Create the account, launch a cluster, create a bucket and a PostgreSQL 17 database, and deploy staging from your existing manifests.
Weeks 2 to 4
One real service and a restore drill
Move one production service and put CI on Tier D. Restore the database to a point in time. The pass mark is the platform lead's: deploy time, restore time, and cost per service.
Day 30
Read the invoice by service
Read spend by service, region and resource beside the current provider's bill for the same services, transfer included.
Day 60
Decision
Move the next service, or leave at the transfer rate with your kubeconfig and your S3 tools unchanged.
Questions
What buyers ask before they sign.
In the order they come up. Every answer ends with where to check it.
10 answers
All questionsWill kubectl, Helm and our manifests work unchanged?
Yes. The platform passed 428 of 428 conformance tests on v1.34.0; the CNCF listing is in progress. NGINX ingress and certificate renewal are included, and you can import a cluster you already run.
Proofthe conformance run, with the CNCF listing in progress, 2026.[2]
How long from signup to a running cluster?
Minutes. The free tier needs no credit card. A cluster reaches Running in 2 to 5 minutes and new nodes join in 1 to 2 minutes. There is no control-plane line on the bill; the default two-node cluster runs about $35 a month.

What does a small production stack cost a month?
A small machine is $0.024 an hour, about $17.50 for a 730-hour month. Object storage is $0.02 per GB a month. Managed databases are quoted per size in writing. Inbound is free; outbound from $0.01 per GB. No minimum term.
Proofthe published rate card, August 1, 2026.[4]
What does it cost to leave before a renewal?
There is no renewal. No minimum term, no exit fee; leaving costs the outbound transfer rate. In the EU, switching charges are capped at direct cost since September 12, 2025 and prohibited from January 12, 2027.
Proofthe Data Act's switching provisions.[1]
Is the S3 API the real thing?
Signature V4, 14 operations, presigned URLs, a 5 GB single upload with multipart beyond it, and access keys scoped to named buckets. Point boto3 or your existing S3 client at one endpoint.
Proofthe object storage overview in the documentation, August 1, 2026.[5]
What happens to Postgres at three in the morning?
PostgreSQL 17 runs on three nodes with Patroni and automatic failover. Seven days of point-in-time restore into a new database while the source keeps running. Backups sit in a separate region. The endpoint is private by default.

Who can read our customers' data?
You and the people you add to your private cloud. The platform underneath sees that a workload exists, how big it is and what it costs. Operator actions are logged. Secrets are shown once; revoke a key and it stops at once.
Proofthe access table and the controls list on the Security page.[7]
What do we paste into our own customers' security questionnaires?
A SOC 2 Type II attestation with an unqualified opinion behind the platform, under NDA. An annual penetration test letter under NDA. A subprocessor list in writing. Say attested, not certified.
Proofthe SOC 2 Type II report under NDA.[7]
Can the servers in our office rack join?
Yes. Your devices join your private cloud with the same console, API and tooling. Triple X quotes the platform charge in writing. Most developer teams start on hosted nodes and add devices later, if ever.
Proofthe Sovereign page and a written quote from Triple X.
What is not included?
No spot pricing and no committed-use discount. No published region list. Starter accounts begin at 5 machines, 2 clusters, 8 cores and 100 GB; increases take 1 to 2 business days. GPU capacity is on quote.
